First things first

Ok. Here's the deal. We're just two dummies who watched some documentaries on Netflix and read a few books and got scared of cancer and being fat all the time. We decided to try to cut out about 95% of animal protein from our diet and see if we would go crazy with the desire for animal flesh and eventually roast and eat our dog.

The rules are pretty simple. No meat, eggs, or dairy 5-6 days a week. Weekends are flexible. Actually, everything is flexible because we have kids and sometimes Steak n' Shake is easier than toting a bag of carrots and hummus around, so shut up.

We don't really have ethical reasons for not eating meat. I mean, don't be a dick to animals, of course, but we're not going to completely eschew a dry aged prime rib once in a while.

We are Brian and Annie, two nerds in our 30s who want to document our rise to godlike health or decline into crippling madness and eventual cannibalism.

Come, let us take you by the hand as we go on this journey together.
